Hundreds of people in Southern California to SFO Bay area claimed to have seen an object moving in the sky. Many people took videos of this and shared it on YouTube.
The object looked like a ball of fire which kind of exploded itself in smoke and blue clouds.
Experts believed this to be a comet which was a precursor to the Taurid meteor shower that is expected this month.
When a comet comes into the atmosphere, it is normal for there to be a white light and then a blue and green streak.
People also posted their pictures and videos of this on twitter.

Later, everything was clarified when a US Navy spokesperson explained that the Navy Strategic Systems Programs had conducted the scheduled Trident II (D5) missile test flight at sea from the Kentucky, an Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine, in the Pacific Test Range off the coast of Southern California.
Once again, no confirmed reports of UFO yet.
